# How Our Quizzes & Tests Are Scored

All quizzes and tests on Get My Test Score give you **instant results** with a detailed breakdown. Here's exactly how scoring works for each type of assessment on the site.

## Course Module Quizzes

Each course module ends with a quiz to test your understanding of the material:

| Options per question | 4 options (one correct answer) |
| Pass mark | 75% (6 out of 8 correct) |
| Time limit | No time limit — take as long as you need |

**Why 75%?** A 75% pass mark is the industry standard for UK health and safety training courses. It ensures you have a solid understanding while allowing for one or two knowledge gaps that the explanations will help you fill.

## Standalone Quizzes

Our fun quizzes (music, movies, general knowledge) are scored differently:

-   **Percentage score** — the number of correct answers out of the total
-   **No pass or fail** — they are for entertainment and learning

## Cognitive Tests
