Frequently Asked Questions

How does the spaced repetition work?

Each card sits in one of three boxes. When you get a card right it moves up a box and comes back less often; when you get it wrong it drops back to box one and repeats sooner. This focuses your time on the cards you find hardest — the most efficient way to memorise.

Can I import flashcards in bulk?

Yes. Use the bulk import box and paste one card per line in the format term - definition (you can separate with a dash, comma or tab). Hundreds of cards can be created in seconds.

Can I print my flashcards?

Yes. Open a deck and choose Print — your cards are laid out as a cut-out grid with the term and definition on each card, optimised for A4 paper. For blank templates and other printable revision resources, see our Downloads page.

Where are my flashcards stored?

Decks are saved locally in your browser, so they're available whenever you come back on the same device. Nothing is uploaded and no account is needed. You can also export a deck as text to move it to another device.
