Enter each assessment with the mark you got and how much it's worth (its weighting). The calculator works out your weighted overall mark so far. If you still have a final exam to sit, switch to the final exam tab to see exactly what mark you need to reach your target grade.
A weighted mark takes into account how much each assessment contributes to your final grade. For example, if coursework is worth 40% of the course and you scored 65%, it contributes 26 percentage points (65 × 0.40) towards your overall mark.
You can choose between common UK grading scales: GCSE grades 9–1 (indicative boundaries), A-level grades A*–E, or Pass, Merit and Distinction commonly used on vocational and university courses (typically 40%, 60% and 70%). Actual grade boundaries vary by exam board and year, so always check with your school, college or awarding body.
Your assessments are saved locally in your browser only, so they're still there if you come back later on the same device. Nothing is uploaded and no account is needed.
